I Lied, There Is No Secret Strategy
There is no strategy, script, or framework that fixes a pattern living at the identity level. You can have every skill, every credential, and the right answer prepared, and still go quiet the moment it counts, because the problem was never what you know. It's what you believe you're allowed to be while you're saying it.
I've said things like "there's a way of thinking about this that changes everything" more times than I can count.
That's not exactly a lie. But it's not the whole truth either, and I want to say the whole truth today.
You have probably tried the books.
The confidence course.
Maybe a coach who handed you a script for the exact sentence to say in the meeting.
You've journaled about it.
Told yourself, "Next time I will speak up," until the sentence stopped meaning anything.
None of that was wrong to try. It just wasn't aimed at the actual thing.
My first real brush with NLP was a seven dollar online course. No teacher, no real training, just videos. I watched them because I wanted to understand what this actually was.
After that seven dollar course, I knew enough to know I didn't know enough.
That's what sent me looking for real training, hundreds of hours, a mentor by my side, three years to get there. Understanding a tool and having a tool are two different things, and nobody puts that on the sales page.
